Introducing #DickiesJobDone

Introducing #DickiesJobDone

We’ve got an exciting new competition that will be launched in 2014 – #DickiesJobDone!

DickiesStore customers all have one thing in common – the active life. Whether you’re hiking up a mountain, repairing the roof or simply walking the dog with the family, our fans get a number of jobs done throughout the day.

Indeed, mastering a roof makeover with a building team or achieving a mammoth 16 mile walk on an icy Sunday are no small feats! Here at DickiesStore, we believe that these jobs, however big or small, deserve acknowledgement.

#DickiesJobDone will be DickiesStore’s way of showing our appreciation towards fans and followers who will be taking on a challenge in 2014.

So what do you need to do?

We want you to take a photo of your #DickiesJobDone – whether it’s a snap of your latest gardening project or a pic of your family on a long-awaited camping trip.

Participants will then be able to submit their entries via Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, or Pinterest, using the hashtag #DickiesJobDone. Users who submit via Facebook should tag DickiesStore in their photo upload. Participants will also be able to send in their #DickiesJobDone pictures via email: NOW CLOSED.

The competition will take place monthly – submissions will run for 3 weeks, from the beginning of the month until the 3rd Friday of the month. DickiesStore will then compile the top ten entries, and post these in a new gallery on Facebook during the last week of the month. Users will then have the chance to vote for their favourite #DickiesJobDone, by ‘liking’ the best entry.

What’s up for grabs?

The winner of each month’s #DickiesJobDone will receive a £100 voucher to spend on DickiesStore clothing such as work trousers, safety boots, work gloves, trainers, work shorts, it’s up to you!

What counts as a job done?

The scope here is virtually endless – you’ve repainted the garden shed? #DickiesJobDone! Tried out a new craft or DIY project? #DickiesJobDone! Participated in a charity walk? #DickiesJobDone!

You get the idea, yes?

As we approach the end of the year, take this opportunity to put a fun spin on making New Year’s resolutions – who knows, you may just be rewarded for accomplishing your #DickiesJobDone in 2014.
