Runners Raise Funds for CRASH in Berlin – Wearing DickiesStore Tees

IMG_3040-1024x1024We recently shared news about the UK’s outstanding construction-focused practical charity CRASH, and told our readers how we at had proudly supplied them with 200 free branded t-shirts as a gift to their team, their patrons and their supporters.

These high quality tees were designed to raise brand awareness at upcoming fundraising events – and this month, a dedicated team of fundraisers tackled the Berlin Half Marathon while proudly sporting the CRASH logo courtesy of Dickies.

On the Run

The Illustrious Homes Fundraising Challenge includes three events that will take the intrepid team “from Berlin to Windsor”. After completing the Berlin Half Marathon, they will go on to take part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride in September, followed by the Windsor Half Marathon in October.

The Illustrious Homes runners – namely Kunle Barker, Caroline Ellis, Thomas Holland, Katie Mills, Lucy Warwick-Ching and Jane Wiley – all successfully completed the Marathon in aid of CRASH, and raised £1350 in the process.

Helping the Homeless

CRASH works to raise funds towards addressing issues of homelessness in the UK. Their work includes the construction and improvement of night shelters, day centres and training facilities, ultimately tackling the problem of homelessness by harnessing the talents of the country’s building and construction centre. The money raised by the Illustrious Homes team will go towards the charitable efforts of CRASH.

By donating branded garments, we at are glad to have played a small role in raising the charity’s profile – the dedicated team really looked the part, and we wish them all the best with their upcoming bike challenge!
